Triceps Dip
Another great exercise for the arms. He triceps muscles of the arm cover two thirds the arm and are designed to be twice as strong as the biceps. If triceps are not trained adequately a muscle imbalance can become a problem, leading to potential injury and other complications in the shoulder and elbow area. Triceps dips performed under the supervision of a Peak Body personal trainer can help tone the upper arm and strengthen functional weaknesses that may have developed through inadequate training.
Step 1 – Start with arms fully extended and feet crossed over each other.
Step 2 – Lower your body by bending at the elbows. The upper arms should be parallel with the floor before returning to the starting position. Make sure to keep a strong posture through the chest and torso.
